BESIDES SEWING KNITTING IS A HUGE PASSION OF MINE. SHARE A GREAT WEBSITE IF YOU HAVEN'T FOUND IT YET

this photo is blurred but the sweater is gorgeous
I  assume that anyone that likes to knit is familiar with ravelry.com
create a password and you will have access to tons of projects, free patterns, examples of what a project will look like after it is completed with a yarn you are thinking about using, friends you can connect with and discuss knitting.  I have learned so much on that website worldwide it has a jillion subscribers i think.

i will show a photo of some of my projects, also i like drops designs website, they offer a great video section with instruction that is really the best i have found for learning new techniques. they also have free patterns, lace patterns, and yarns and supplies for sale.
http://www.ravelry.com/projects/ginger143/seamless-raglan-sweater---child  this is one of my projects for my grandson , my first knit in the round sweater without a pattern,  it looks very cute on him, in the photo it isn't quite finished..

you basically knit round and round until  you get to the armpits and you put so many stitches on a piece of thread and continue to knit the sweater decreasing at 4 points to slant inward for the raglan sleeve and then knit the sleeves , in the end all you have to do is weave in the few underarm stitches and if you do it right you won't be able to even notice it.. what a great pattern..

my favorite book by ELIZABETH ZIMMERMANN  is the knitting workshop, their are also videos that you can buy to go with the book and i  highly recommend the videos.

the other favorite jacket of all time to knit is the TOTEM JACKET go to ravelry and type in elizabeth zimmerman under patterns and you will see the totem.. click on it and look at all the cute jackets and so super fun and easy.
the other very popular one is the BABY SURPRIZE JACKET.. you can check it out on ravelry as well, i have not done that one as of yet.
check out ravelry, and drops designs, and get inspired to knit, or learn to knit.. it is great therapy, and the things you can do are really endless.
faith.
